Description: TRAMA is an association of 400 backstrap loomweavers in the western highlands of Guatemala; the association offers high quality products that ensure fair wages to the craftspeople. They also offer hands-on classes for individuals wanting to learn about traditional weaving processes. It was formerly founded to support women after Guatemala's civil war. TRAMA works with representatives of Sololá, Quiché, Huehuetenango, Quetzaltenango and Sacatepequez).

Volunteer work: Trama needs volunteers with computer and publishing skills, experience in proposal writing and traductors in conferences, they also have a small store where they sell some of their products and hands are always welcome. If you have skills in design of products we could also use your experience in order to design new articles. They have a weaving school so if the student wants to learn the weaving techniques it is also a possibility.

Amount of time: For Sakribal students there is no amount of time established.
