Description: Women organization dedicated to improve the quality of life of indigenous women and their families.

Volunteer work: Building stoves to improve the cooking facilities of women in rural areas, helping them to prevent diseases. Coordinate with the group of women to expand their commercial opportunities (medicinal herbs and plants project and a small scale production of eggs and chicken). Empowerment programs for women.

Time amount: Ixchel requires a minimum of 2 weeks, the student can choose between mornings or afternoons.
