Walks one hour to get to school

Juana lives with her mother Dematria and her sister Glendy (3 months) in Caserio Choxan in the department of Momostenango. Her father abandoned the family.
The family live in 2 rooms, one bedroom and one room for everything else including cooking. Dematria washes clothes to earn money to support the family, she works 7 days a week for as long as there is work .
